Chasing a good total of 161 runs, opener Tilakaratne Dilshan was dismissed for duck by Ashok Dinda in the very first over.
After Dislhan, Virat Kohli (56) and Chris Gayle (26) started the run chase in style and maintained the run rate much higher than required.
However, Delhi made come back with seven quick wickets but finally Vettori and Syed Mohammad took Bangalore home with three balls to go.
